Holy Communion: It is the invitation of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all baptized Christians are invited to feast at the Lord’s Table. Martin Luther reminds us that, “Holy Communion is the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ given with bread and wine, instituted by Christ himself for us to eat and drink. In this sacrament we receive forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.” Those not prepared to receive the Sacrament may come forward for a blessing. We have celiac-friendly communion wafers. Please let Pastor know if you need to use these wafers. Delegates Needed: to attend the ECSW Synod Assembly in Stevens Point, May 21-22, 2010. Early bird registration deadline is March 31st. Talk to Pastor Mary for more information. Soup & Sandwich is back! Please join us for Soup & Sandwich suppers Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Come and enjoy good food and fellowship as part of the evening of worship during the Lenten season. Reserve your date to bring a kettle of soup, sandwiches or a dessert. A sign up board is in the narthex. Note: The High Five portion of the supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. If Singing is your gift … please share it joining the Easter choir! Practices will be held after Sunday service March 7, 14, 21 & 28. Easter Sunday services are April 4th at 6:30 and 10:00 a.m. We hope to have enough interest to have a choir for both services. Please let Val Filz know you plan to participate! Community Outreach & Fellowship is asking for your help. We are requesting the addresses of your loved ones that are prayed for in our weekly bulletins, your service men and women and those listed on the prayer list or anyone you know that would like a ‘pick-me-up’ card. The COF Team will place the collected addresses on a “Thinking of You Tree” and members of the congregation can pick a name and address and mail that person a card. Please forward your loved ones name and address to the church office and we will take care of the rest. Calling all Quilters and Blanket Makers! We would like to bring back a sewing ladies circle. This is a vital ministry! The blankets made are donated to charities around the world and bring comfort and warmth to many in need. If you are interested contact Edna Marquardt at 920/860-6431, or leave a message at the church office. Let’s Celebrate Your Birthday!!! Community Outreach & Fellowship would like to celebrate people’s birthdays monthly at Coffee Fellowship. Wouldn’t it be fun for you to bring your favorite treat or healthy snack for Coffee Fellowship during your birthday month? You will be celebrating and signing up with other birthday members. Check the website or church kitchen for specific duties.
